Two content-full days in Lithuania!
On the 26 of November we participated in AgriFood Forum 2025, which took place at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania. Our team joined one of the most influential agrifood innovation events in the Baltic region.
Major highlight for our project was the panel discussion: “The Farm of the Future: From Practice to Policy – Solar, Wind and Biogas Energy for Sustainable Agricultural Transformation,” where we explored what an energy-independent, data-driven farm could look like in the near future.
The session brought together farmers, policymakers and technology experts to discuss how solar, wind and biogas can function as one integrated system. We also looked at how energy storage, waste-to-value solutions and AI could help create more efficient, sustainable and profitable farms and which policy actions could accelerate this transition.
Introductory insights were given by Niels Peter Pretzmann – visionary entrepreneur, owner of Farmer’s Circle, Winner of the Regenerative Farm category at the Baltic Sustainability Awards. The discussions that followed clearly demonstrated that the South Baltic region has strong potential to lead in building decentralised, green and regenerative agricultural systems, and the BioSolFarm partnership is proud to contribute to this transformation.
The next day we continued our discussion in the partner meeting, hosted by AgriFood Lithuania together with our Lithuanian partners Rietavo turizmo ir verslo informacijos centras and LITMEA | Smart Food Cluster. Our team focused entirely on strengthening cooperation within our project. This meeting reaffirmed the value of partner-driven learning and demonstrated how empowering farmers with knowledge, tools, and networks drives real change in the region.
👏 Warm thank you to everyone who participated and made these two days unforgettable!👏
