Gdańsk University of Technology is one of the oldest universities in Poland. It has eight faculties and with 40 fields of study and nearly 15.000 students from over 60 countries. Gdansk University of Technology has an extensive experience in European Projects dealing with environmental and sustainable solutions, waste management, renewable resources and energy management, and many more pointing directions for research oriented towards the challenges, cooperation and sustainable development.

AgriFood Lithuania DIH

AgriFood Lithuania is a Digital Innovation Hub and Cluster that brings together major research, business and public stakeholders in Lithuania for the common pursuit of digital transformations in the agriculture, food and associated sectors.
The AgriFood Lithuania links stakeholders with international and cross-sector initiatives to provide all-round support in the research, development and deployment of AgriFood Tech innovations.
AgriFood Lithuania is a member of the Lithuanian clusters network (KlasterLT), the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, European Clusters Alliance, Smart Sensors 4 AgriFood. Together with a consortium of partners under the “ESIC.LT” initiative has been confirmed as a European Digital Innovation Hub in Lithuania. From 2021 March AgriFood Lithuania DIH is EIT Food Hub in Lithuania.

enviMV

envi MV is an environmental technology network from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that brings together small and medium-sized companies to market their environmental technologies nationally and internationally.
The focus is on strengthening the local economy and promoting sustainable developments in the circular economy at home and abroad. The association
develops cooperation projects in the field of CE, renewable energies and education. It is qualified in project management, environmental education, public relations and technology transfer and has experience in international projects. In the southern Baltic region, enviMV is engaged in the South Baltic Cleantech Network for cooperation with partners from Sweden, Lithuania and Poland.

Rietavas Tourism and Business Information Centre

The mission of the Rietavas Tourism and Busineses Information Centre is to be a reliable support and a partner for business companies and entrepreneurs operating and emerging in the territory of Rietavas Municipality, to provide them with consulting, training and technical/institutional assistance, to contribute to the promotion of foreign and local investments in the Rietavas Municipality. The vision is to be a professional, competent and reliable partner, who contributes significantly to the socio-economic development of the region of Rietavas and actively participates in activities at the local, regional, national and international level, presents the achievements of entrepreneurs of Rietavas Municipality and represents their needs.

Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Lubań

The Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre in Lubań – (PAAC) is one of 16 regional units covering all territory of Poland and is directed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. In the structures of agricultural advisory unit is about 100 accredited advisors. The main aim and activities of the highly skilled and professional advisors is updating requirements and new regulations, improving the knowledge and skills of farmers, providing practical solutions and good practices applied on farms by promoting, for example, more sustainable farming techniques including renewable energy sources. Most of the tasks are performed as statutory tasks, but the company also carries out commercial activities. The PAAC organizes study tours, conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings and conducting training courses in terms of economics, accounting and organization of farms including advising on sustainable agriculture production as well as renewable energy sources for individual farmers and residents of rural areas. The Agricultural Advisory Centre also facilitate and support the development and operation of networking among farmers, advisory units, research centres, entrepreneurs of the agri-food sector and other entities supporting the implementation of innovations in agriculture, forestry, food production and in rural areas. Additionally the Advisory Centre is identifying partners for cooperation in the implementation of innovative projects and cooperate with national scientific and research units, institutions and organizations working for innovation and the European Innovation Partnership for Efficient and Sustainable Development of the EIP-AGRI. Furthermore, disseminate of knowledge about innovative solutions in the agri-food sector and in rural areas, good practices in this field and the effects of the work of operational groups.

Lietuvos maisto eksportuotojų asociacija (LitMEA)

Lithuanian food exporters association LitMEA created in 2011, the association gathers 120 members from Agrofood, food processing and manufacturing sectors helping association members to enhance competitiveness in foreign markets, bringing together the capabilities of the companies, competencies and contacts. The association strengthens cooperation for the development of functional, innovative food products and beverages, boosting business & science cooperation between corporate technologists and research institutions. Associationhas successfully implemented and continues to implement activities related to food and packaging and S3. Moreover, LITMEA is a participant of the S3 Partnership Food Packaging, Agri&Food Nordic network, S3 partnership Ingredients for a Circular Economy and Lithuanian cluster network LITMEA has a wide expertise regarding the various initiatives and is active in the various initiatives regarding circular economy and sustainable food and packaging.

Universität Rostock - Traditio et Innovatio

The University of Rostock is not only the oldest university in the Baltic Sea region, but also the richest in tradition. Founded in 1419, it looks back on a longstanding history of teaching and research and celebrated its 600th anniversary.
The University of Rostock (www.uni-rostock.de) consists of nine traditional faculties and an additional Interdisciplinary Faculty (INF). The Interdisciplinary Faculty unities scientists and students of all disciplines in four major departments: ‘Life,
Light and Matter‘, ‘Maritime Systems‘, ‘Ageing of the Individuals and of Society‘, and ‘Knowledge – Culture – Transformation‘. These departments represent the key research areas that have developed throughout the long tradition of the University, and contribute to honing the University’s profile through connecting its strengths by means of interdisciplinary and cross-curricular cooperation. Offering more than 150 courses of study (among others 43 bachelor degree courses, 56 master degree courses and 37 state examination courses including teaching degrees), the University of Rostock is one of Germany‘s Universities with the widest range of academic subjects.
